Adult Stem Cell- Source:Time.com WELCOME TO THE STEM CELL RESEARCH SITE
The site has been created to be an introductory guide to stem cells for beginners. Although there are many stem cell sites out there on the internet; including the National Institute of Health introduction to stem cells, I decided that it would be useful to gather as much information as possible about the basics of this form of research, so that you, the site visitor could grasp the various concepts quickly and accurately; without having to browse through endless jargon.

I am not criticising other websites in Any way; most of the information on this site is obtained from these invaluble resources (with full credits given where possible)- but I thought that another guide site would not come amiss.


I have attempted to keep the navigation as simple as possible - all the stem-cell info related content can be found in the Intro and In-depth sections. The site content should be self-explanatory, Fun are some alternative games/quizzes that you can play. With regards to the Special Content - educational packs are a feature - downloads/content suitable for certain age groups- eg. for primary school pupils. It does not follow any particular curriculum, but after viewing various 'packages'- we have put-together some interesting files that could be used in schools or at home.
